Fintech Business Awards 2019 finalists announced

The 2019 Fintech Business Awards will identify the leading individuals and organisations making a contribution to the rapidly growing fintech community.

The Fintech industry continues to grow rapidly in Australia with emerging players challenging the established financial institutions.

Fintech Business’ editor James Mitchell said the awards is a chance to recognise the hardworking businesses that continue to innovate.

“Fintechs continue to innovate and challenge our way of thinking about the industry and the finalists represented here are some of the best in the sector,” he said.

Since opening for entry, Fintech Business has received a significant number of high-calibre submissions, both from those who represent fintech start-ups as well as more established providers and financial service providers that have wholly embraced fintech innovation.

Finalists in the awards are varied with representatives from neobanks Xinja, investment innovators like Raiz and Powerwrap, lenders like Prospa and MoneyMe and a whole range of other finalists.

The individual categories include Female Leader of the Year, Fintech Entrepreneur of the Year, Mentor and Fintech Thought Leader of the Year with individuals from companies like Moneycatcha, TRAction Fintech, YTML, Balance Impact and Advice Intelligence being recognised.

Momentum Media, the publisher of Fintech Business, has released the full list of finalists for the event, which can be viewed here.

The winners of the 2019 Fintech Business Awards will be selected by a panel of expert judges and announced at a sit-down networking dinner on Thursday, 28 March 2019.
