In each episode, I interview the most forward thinking people from inside and around the Financial Advice industry about how they perceive the future and are bringing it into the present. These industry thought leaders are putting goals at the centre of their client relationships and teams, building great businesses and making a huge difference to people's lives along the way. Throughout this series, we'll explore how they are doing this and give practical steps for you to do the same in your business.

In this episode, I chat with Amanda Sartor, who helps advisers understand and offer philanthropic advice to their clients. This is her passion, as you will hear she is dedicated to the cause, she works with both Elston partners in Brisbane and also with Philanthropy Australia, which is a bit like the industry body. In this episode, I chat with Vicki Writer, who runs her own coaching and presenting business, working with financial advisers on soft skills. Vicki is trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and in this chat, we went deep on some of the Strategies advisers should know when working with their clients, We also chatted about Speaking and presenting, and some of the strategies she uses to deliver confident presentations, well worth considering if you are planning of presenting to groups of any size.
In this episode, I chat with current AFA QLD State director Patricia Garcia, who along with all her industry commitments and study, successfully transitioned as the successor into an existing GBA business. Patricia gives us very open and frank ideas, on her take over of the business, how she runs her business and how the clients felt about the transition to her, as their new adviser. This is a true success story, one that I got a lot out of myself, and it gives me great pleasure to share it with you.

This is a very different episode, I chat to self-licensed adviser and industry thought leader Steve Crawford, about the work he is doing to help the profession move into a new world of advice. Because I love what he is doing, and appreciate the effort he is going to, to help other advisers, I wanted to give him, and The Advice Movement a plug on The Goals Based Adviser Podcast. And in particular a two-day event they are hosting in February 2019.
